Southern Exposure Seed Exchange is a 72-acre farm and cooperatively run business in Mineral, Virginia. They sell more than 800 varieties of open-pollinated, organic, and heirloom vegetable, herb, flower, grain, and cover crop seeds, mushroom spawns, and more. Many of their seeds are grown by a network of small farm seed growers. Learn more about Southern Exposure in my post from last year.
This year, Southern Exposure has added 25 new varieties including Jasmyn Rissie and Aji Chinci Amarillo hot peppers, Barese chard, and Monticello Old Breadseed Poppy.
You can purchase their seeds through their Catalog and Garden Guide or in retail stores throughout the Southeast. I picked up some of their Matt’s Wild cherry tomato, Mortgage Lifter tomato, and Sugar Drip sorghum seeds last week at my local garden store and can’t wait to try those this year.
