This fall the second edition of Raising Goats Naturally will be released, and I’m planning a speaking tour to give talks to goat groups, as well as other groups interested in sustainable living.
Last fall, the second edition of Homegrown and Handmade was published, so I’d love to talk about the topics in that book also, which includes gardening, chickens, and other livestock, as well as homestead businesses.
I’m always up for talking about my third book, Ecothrifty: Cheaper, Greener Choices for a Happier, Healthier Life. My Ecothrifty Living talk is especially popular in libraries and can include a DIY section where everyone makes their own sugar scrub and laundry detergent to take home.
Here is a list of talks that I give regularly, but I often create new talks based upon requests or suggestions.
If you have a local or regional goat group that would be interested in a goat talk, please contact me about the logistics of being added to the scheduled. Nothing is confirmed yet, other than the Mother Earth News Fairs, but these are some possibilities so far …
